Selective Embolization as a Pre-operational Aid in Patient with a Small Pelvis Recurrent Tumor
A clinical case of a 55-year patient with the ovary transitional carcinoma recurrent in a form of a small pelvis isolated tumor, complicated with the rectum germination, decomposition and hemorrhage is described. A patient has received a complex treatment with a pre-operational selective arterial embolization of the tumor vessels. The advantages and possible complications of the given method are discussed.
