Traumatic Brain Compression: Modern Aspects of the Problem, Management

There have been presented clinical presentation of traumatic brain compression, and considered modern diagnostic and surgical approaches. Five variants of surgical approaches depending on the dynamics of clinical presentation, and the findings of instrumental investigations (CT, MRT) have been suggested. Indications and contradictions to conservative treatment of brain compression have been stated. There has been emphasized the aspects of the problem unsolved and under debate.
