Psychosomatic Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients with Vertebrogenic Cervicalgia
Aim of work is a comparative analysis of the clinical, psychological, psychopathologic and neurophysiologic examination data of patients with a vertebrogenic cervicalgia for establishment of correlations between the revealed psychopathologic symptoms, individual typological properties of personality and functional state of vertebral column.
Materials and Methods. A group of patients of 59 humans at the age of 18—70 years is clinically examined. A functional state of vertebral column was investigated by the cerebrospinal nerve state dynamic segmental diagnosis method (a DSD-test). A psychodiagnostic method — an individual typological questionnaire was used.
Results. The pathogenetic correlations between the psychological tendencies of personality, psychopathologic symptoms, functional state of vertebral column and a basic disease development are established. The received data was used in a complex reduction therapy. A use of additional diagnosis methods has permitted to achieve a more rapid cupping of a painful syndrome and remissions in patients with a chronic flow of disease.
