Endoscopic Technique of Radical Treatment of Hysterocarcinoma
The aim of the study is to assess short-term and remote results of surgical treatment in patients with early hysterocarcinoma using video-surgery techniques.
Materials and Methods. There have been presented the comparative data of two comparable groups of patients with hysterocarcinoma Т1—2N0М0. The operations have been performed using laparoscopy (n=47) and open surgery (n=50).
Results. The research data showed the advantages of immediate results of endoscopy over laparotomy by the following parameters: the duration of surgery, the volume of intraoperative blood loss, the character and frequency of complications, the reduction of hospital stay period, and a cosmetic effect. It improves patients’ life quality after laparoscopic hysterectomy. The total and recurrence-free survival in two groups is noted to be comparable and they do not depend on surgical treatment technique.
