The Influence of Low-frequency Magnetophototherapy on the Dynamics of Electromyographic Indexes in the Rehabilitation of Patients with Combined Pathology of the Spine and Major Joints
The aim of the work is to study the effect of low-frequency magnetophototherapy (LFMPT) on the dynamics of electromyographic (EMG) and cliniconeurological indexes in the rehabilitation of patients with combined pathology of the spine and major joints.
Materials and Methods. There have been performed rehabilitation and examination of 160 patients with combined pathology of the spine and major joints (osteoarthrosis deformans of major joints of legs and the spine and dorsopathy of lumbosacral spine) using combined techniques (pharmacological, LFMPT), and amplipulse therapy.
Results. LFMPT is recommended to be used based on cliniconeurological and EMG-criteria analysis in rehabilitation of patients with combined pathology of locomotorium, especially those with contradictions to non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs and electrotherapeutical procedures. According to EMG finings, LFMPT increases peripheral neurility.
