Lipid Peroxidation and Antioxidant Protective System in Patients with Chronic Nonspecific Endometritis
The aim of the study is to reveal the changes in “lipid peroxidation—antioxidant protection” system in chronic endometritis.
Materials and Methods. 40 female patients of fertile age with chronic endometritis were examined. A screening method of induced chemiluminescence of serum was used to assess the intensity of free-radical oxidation.
Results and Discussion. The patients with chronic endometritis are revealed to have an increased level of lipid peroxidation combined with the decrease in the activity of antioxidant enzymes. A marked imbalance stated requires an appropriate correction.
