The Peculiarities of Surgical Treatment of Esophageal Injury in Patients of Old Age

There has been presented clinical observation of successful treatment of severe mediastinitis caused by the trauma of the posterior esophageal wall in esophagoscopy, in patients of old age based on invasive surgical approach and present-day methods of antibacterial and anti-inflammatory therapy.
