Peculiarities of a Female Reproductive System Response to the Superovulation Stimulation in the IVF Cycle
The aim of the investigation is to study pathophysiologic peculiarities of the female reproductive system response to the superovulation stimulation.
Materials and Methods. The analysis of examination results of 70 females with sterility and their treatment with the in vitro fertilization (IVF) method has been made. A follicular fluid volume was measured from each follicle in the follicle paracentesis and the free-radical balance values were investigated with a method of induced chemiluminescence.
Results. Activation of the free-radical oxidation appears to be a sign of dominant follicles, from which the most qualitative oocytes are received. It is revealed, that the average follicles with a 2,0—4.5 ml volume are the most corresponding sign of the dominant ones in the IVF cycle. A great variety of free-radical oxidation levels in a follicular fluid taken from different follicles is a sign of a reproductive system “physiologic” response to the superovulation stimulation.
