The Use of Cryodestruction in Ingrown Nail Treatment in Polyclinic
The aim of the investigation is to study the possibilities of using modern combined cryodestruction technique to treat ingrown nail in polyclinic surgeries.
Materials and Methods. There have been analyzed the results of complex cryosurgical treatment of ingrown nail in 17 patients with various degree of pathological process. 17 patients of the control group underwent traditional surgical treatment.
Conclusion. Cryosurgical method of treating patients with ingrown nail is least traumatic, cost-effective. It contributes to rapid rehabilitation, improvement of patient’s life quality, vocational rehabilitation, and has a good cosmetic effect.
