Possibilities of the Neurovisualization Modern Technologies for New Understanding of a Cervical Dystonia Pathogenesis
Aim of the work is a study of the neuropsychological disturbances and neurovisualized changes in patients with a cervical dystonia.
Materials and Methods. 92 patients at the age of 21—69 years are examined.
Results and discussion. The neuropsychological disorders in a form of sluggish mentality, difficulties in generation of ideas and postures, aggravation of ability to generalization and abstraction are revealed. It is demonstrated, that the brain frontal lobe dysfunction in these patients has both a nonspecific character, stipulated by neurodynamic mechanisms, and a specific one, connected with disturbance of the proper frontal lobe activity. An average value of the subarachnoid spaces in the frontal and parietal areas, as well as an average width of the cortical sulci, according to the brain magnetoresonance tomography, in patients with cervical dystonia exceed the corresponding values in patients with headaches of tension. The multiple statistically significant correlations of the neurovisualized values with the ″frontal″ neuropsychological test results are discovered, which presumes an existence of the psychic and motor activity free regulation disturbance neuromorphological bases.
